Personality: Njeri is much like her mother, Kiara. She is bubbly, vivacious and very much a flirt, she isn’t afraid to use her feminine wiles to manipulate the opposite sex into doing things for her. Njeri has mastered the ability to sweet talk her way out of almost any situation, partly because she’s the baby in the family and partly because her mischievous nature gets her in trouble, so she’s had a lot of practice over the years.

However, while Kiara would just jump into conflict or a fight with no concern for her own safety, Njeri would do just the opposite. If she’s in any sort of danger, Njeri will run away and even pit her own friends against each other so that she can save herself. The only exception to this rule is her older brother, Amare, who she loves very much and will do almost anything for. If she needs him for her schemes, that is.

Description: Mousy brown fur with light gray mussle, stomach and paws. She has bright blue eyes, dark eye shades and a black outlander nose. There is a beauty mark underneath her nose on the left side.

History: Njeri is the daughter of Kiara and Kovu. Since they ran away from the Pride Lands before she was born, Njeri has no idea about her heritage of being a princess but Vitani spoils her like one anyway. She is very close to her Aunt Vitani, who gives her special lessons and play with more than Kovu ever does. Actually, despite the warm and happy family that she has, Njeri always felt like she was on the outside looking in. Njeri and Amare both vie for their often emotionally distant father’s attention and even though Njeri is more skilled a fighter than Amare, Kovu still seems to spend more time with her brother than her.

After Kovu and later Vitani’s disappearance, Njeri blames herself for not being the best, so she buries herself in training to be the best hunter in the pride. Njeri grows up to be popular amongst the royal family and even becomes engaged to the Prince, but yet she still feels something is missing in her life. When Amare leaves to find their missing father, Njeri follows after him, wanting to explore the world too.

However, when they do reunite with their rogue father, Njeri learns a very disturbing truth about her birth. A deep, dark, dirty secret that when told, shatters what left of not only her identity but the relationship between all of the members in her family.
