Gotta admit, I'm starting to lose it a little bit--feeling like Lost with all these questions and not enough answers. Can't beat the absurd production values though. Anybody else watching HBO's new favorite child?

I've heard good things about this show, and I'll start watching it this weekend.

Oh yes, I forgot. I watched the first season on Blu-Ray, and I enjoyed the performances from the ensemble cast, the production values that skillfully blends science fiction with the western genre, and the deep thematic elements of what makes us human, how the hosts find their consciousness and their identity (existentialism), and how we, as a people, create our own sense of reality. I will admit I did get lost and confused in some areas, but I will watch the second season in the near future.

i didn’t care for the first ep much, didn’t get past 10 minutes.

Westerns and sci fi aren’t exactly my favorite genres.

I actually thought that the finale was really rewarding and enjoyed it. It tied off a lot of questions elegantly and was beautiful, if a bit drawn out. Westworld would benefit hugely from an edit like they did with the star wars prequels--chop of maybe 40% of content from this season and you could have a super taut and really gripping show.

Has anyone watched season 2? I'll start watching it in January.
