Disney shuts down Blue Sky animation studio

I somehow did and didn’t expect it at the same time. But it’s a shame.
Luckily most of the animators were just moved to Disney animation.

Heard it too when it happened. Glad the animators didn't lose their job but what a loss.

Apparently The shutdown was due to the loss of revenue Disney experienced because of covid-19. Still sad though.
The upside is any Blue Sky franchise "could" be made under Disney Animation. I don't think They will cancel The Ice Age Adventures Of Buck Wild (seeing as Bob Iger didn't mention Blue Sky when this movie was announced).
