MLK Writing Contest #11!
Posted: September 17th, 2012, 4:46 pmSo here it is, the first in the second deca of writing contests! Once again, you will have two weeks to write on one of the following prompts:
You guys will have until Monday, October 1st to submit your entries to me. I will accept most word document formats (I will inform you if there will be some problems), as well as the story in a spoiler box within a PM.
In case you might have missed it, I ran a poll to decide whether or not to change the word limit for stories in the writing contest, and it turns out that people were for the idea of making the limit larger. So there are new rules regarding word length:
The stories cannot exceed more than 4000 words . However, there is also now a minimum requirement of 1000 words as well. The other rules are the same: keep the stories PG-13, no plagiarizing, and don't submit something you already wrote previously. Don't vote for yourself, and don't ask others to vote for your story either.
The winner will get a special banner made by me, and will be able to create a prompt for others to write on in the next writing contest.
