Seconded. It'd be nice to have members really put some thought into their vote and do a little research, etc., instead of not really having enough time to think it through and just voting for one's best friend or something like that. C:

As for the three month ban once you win... I think a ban of some sort would be nice, though perhaps 3 months is a bit too long... I mean, who knows, we might run out of people to nominate in, say, the AMV category at the end of 3 months, LOL. So maybe more like a month ban would work. That's my opinion.

ok so categories are : RP, FanFic, Amv, graphics. 4 subjects 4 weeks = 1 month hows that sound and of course mike it will be good to see your art contest still running

ok the way this will run is simple. for each category there will be a weeks nomination, a weeks voting. the winner will be announced the start of the next award and category. to go through all 4 categories will take 2 months. if you win a category, you can not win it again for 3 cycles

It's just a precaution to avoid one person getting all the awards =) Knowing KK everything will be refined and explained (though not spell-checked XD) to a tee by the time the contest is ready.

Actually, three months isn't very long for each category, seeing as it would take at least one month to cycle back to the same category once again (or in KK's plan, 2 months. lol)

Hmm, seeing as the cycle will take 2 months KK, I think maybe prohibiting a member from being nominated for two cycles after that would be long enough, since that's 4 months right there. lol. 3 cycles would be half a year. O.o Just my thoughts though. ^^
