Its just what I heard from someone who was buying baby Simba stuff at my work at Party City, so I had a small chat with them about it, and they mentioned something about it being discontinued

That's part city...and I mean I work for TRU and I know how they discontinue things. There's only been one thing that jumped from $59.99 to discontinue and that was something lego tmnt. Not sure why since its still popular, but eh. Like they usually start discounting it all, putting it to clearance before making things fall off the face of the earth
