The paw colors are also really off when it comes to Scar paw color. O_o They seem like two completely different lions to me XD

It looks like they used the first one to trace from the second one. Those two pics are very similar.

There are a lot of differences in color in TLK due to the lighting. Fire casts a really weird color on everything which is why Scar's paws look weird. I would know, i love to play with fire xD

I think you all have excellent points. I still think Mufusa was too tired to jump up, but I still see no claw marks--...Ok I take that back, I do.

But on Simba, Scar STILL dug his claws in Simba's skin, but he didn't yelp or anything.

Adrenaline rush maybe? I don't know if lions get that, but they can also talk xD. Adrenaline makes you feel less pain and a rush of energy and strength which could explain the reason that Simba could jump up onto the ledge.

That's true. O.o Maybe Simba DID have a rush. Hmmm. We must now limit Simba on his sugar and anything that helps with the adrenaline rush! >.>

Actually, if you look closely, Mufasa is bleeding too.

I've reviewed them more and found a few more differences. Scar has his dew claws ripping in on Mufasa's paws, but not Simba's. Simba's paws are still on top of the ledge holding on as Scar grips him, meaning his weight isn't pulling Scar's claws in deeper like poor Mufasa (who is also more muscular and heavier than Simba). Mufasa, though, is on the side of that cliff climbing up, and his paws are below the ledge Scar is on. Simba merely manage to find a foothold on Pride Rock he could use as leverage about the moment rage compelled him to go after Scar. Mufasa was on a sheer cliff and barely scrabbling to hold on, thus having no leverage for a leap if could manage it.

and I've played with tons of fire effects to know about the lighting it gives off....also noticed it from real flames too lol.
