Did Nuka foreshadow his own death?

During the song, "My Lullaby", Nuka sings "Now you've found yourself somebody to chase Simba up a tree" and she responds with "Well the battle may be bloody, but that kind of works for me."

Now fast forward to the scene where Simba is ambushed by Zira's pride and he tries to escape by climbing a huge pile of logs. Nuka chases him up the "trees" (technically a log pile) until they come crashing down on him, killing him in the process.

Huh, I was going to dismiss this immediately but then I thought about it a bit. Zira calling the battle bloody turned out to be correct too because both she and Nuka died in the end. I’m not completely convinced that the writers meant this to be foreshadowing though, but nice observation nonetheless.

This is an interesting observation, to be honest. Whether it foreshadows or not is hard to say, but it does suggest that Zira was willing to sacrifice just about anything and anybody for this victory, which you can connect to the foreshadowing I suppose? :D

I never noticed that line really before you said it. Intersting pointe.

Great observation. The lyrics did feel like a giveaway.

I don't think so. Nuka didn't know that he was going to die so soon. I always thought that that line was for when the Outsiders would fight & attack the Pridelanders in battle. But i don't think that Nuka or Zira foresaw their deaths by saying that line in their song. But i could be wrong.
