The final scene.

Can you please respond? I mean maybe I’m kind of obsessed, it’s just I waited for a while to hear back, but if you don’t want to that’s fine.

I think I do honestly need to get away from LK. It’s just not good for my health.
I wonder if that's because those are human associated activities, and they get Simba acting in ways which closely resemble human like mannerisms, making him more relatable and interesting at the same time because naturally, lions aren't supposed to engage in such behaviors. He certainly looks more "anthropomorphized" during these scenes.
I know, and I really love seeing him like that. And that’s mainly why I also really like the idea of Mufasa occasionally doing these activities, both cause I think he would look great doing them and to show they’re not “bad” if done in moderation. And it wouldn’t really be completely unbelievable, since similar to Timon with Simba, Mufasa has a two-legged friend with Rafiki. Heck, two, since he also has Zazu.

I’ve quoted our conversation that’s caused me distress.

I particularly enjoyed the scene where Simba and Timon held the snail eating contest. They made him far more "humanized" in it than how he's usually portrayed like throughout the franchise, unlike Scar or Zira, who were regularly depicted showing a significant degree of anthropomorphism when on screen.

Honestly, I’m still a bit frustrated about this. I feel like you didn’t even read any of what I’d said
in the post you were responding to when you made that last response. I mean, I didn’t say anything about Scar and Zira, so what do they have to do with any of what I said? I’m not mad at you or anything, but I’m pretty sure you didn’t read what I’d said.

EDIT: I want to say I’m sorry if this sounded kind of harsh, I hold on to things that bother me sometimes, it’s something I need to work on.

Did you read a single thing I actually said? I don’t think you did, because your response indicates you didn’t read any of it. You talk about something almost completely unrelated that also makes no sense—-how was Simba acting human-like in the snail scene (at least in a way that was comparable to the scenes I’d previously mentioned)? Why the heck are you comparing him to Scar and Zira, who I never said ANYTHING about and have nothing to do with this? The only other lion I mentioned was MUFASA, which makes me sure you didn’t read any of my post. I shared how I felt, but If I’d known that you’d respond by just ignoring it all (for lack of a better description), I don’t think I would have even felt comfortable discussing my feelings in the first place.

I’m sorry, but I take things personally sometimes. At least when it feels like people aren’t listening to me. And I’ve been having a bit of a bad night.

EDIT: Again, I’m really sorry this is harsh, and also that it’s mostly a rehash of the last post; it had just been several months and I was really feeling frustrated.

I do understand that you wrote “I particularly enjoyed”, and I want to respect what you like and show I recognize it, because it means a lot when people show the same for me. But it’s kind of hard when I feel the other person isn’t really paying attention to what I say.
Not quite sure what you mean by that, or how it’s a direct response to my post you quoted :?

Well, we were talking about Simba engaging in unusual activities for a lion and acting in a human like manner. In the scene I've mentioned, he did just that.
(frustrated) No, he DIDN’T…I mean, I sure don’t see how he did! You weren’t messing with me, were you? I was asking what the heck you meant and you said “he did just that” without explaining at all. Which felt too much like messing with me :(
Look, I’m not trying to be rude or anything, but I’m really not following you here. You haven’t explained how he acted in a human like matter for one (I looked at that scene and am not quite sure why you think that), your comparison to Scar and Zira didn’t make sense (I hadn’t mentioned them), and again, you haven’t really acknowledged much of what I’d said specifically in my initial post you responded to (the one yesterday at 1:13), despite quoting it, which makes me feel like you didn’t even read it.

I’m sorry if this is coming across as rude, though. I’m just kind of sensitive, so when I don’t understand what someone’s saying or when I feel people aren’t really listening to me, I get kind of frustrated.

Never mind then. Just forget you've read any of that and don't let it bother you. No point in getting worked out over something so trivial. I'm not trying to be rude either but I think that once a conversation hits a wall, the best thing one can do is to backtrack away from it and move on to something else.
The problem is, when someone says something that distresses me or greatly confuses me, it’s just hard to forget I read or heard any of it, and act like I’m not bothered by it at all. I often need to come to an understanding to move forward.

I’m sorry if any of this sounds harsh. I just really don’t like when I don’t feel communication is going well. But I admit I have issues I need to work on.
