Question about non American version of DVD

Where I live (In the United States) it's called Lion King 1 1\2, but in other parts of the world it's called Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata. But there's a gag at the opening of the film (and trailer) about Timon changing the title from Lion King III to II (Then he's reminded by Pumbaa there's already been a II) and changes it to 1 1\2.

Do they cut that in Non American versions of the DVD?

I've never even seen that US trailer, lol.
I have the DVD though, but obviously, can't play it over here.

That's a good question.
I don't know, maybe they did. By the way, here in Europe (concretly in Spain), is The Lion King 3 instead The Lion King 1 1/2.
I still liking more the 1 1/2 idea, because a 3rd sequel doesn't make any sense by the continuation of SP, I think.

Everywhere in Europe they have used "3" instead of "1 1/2" :)

Yup, they removed it. I have the Dutch DVD at home. But, the Disney Channel broadcasts say 1 1/2 though

There are new boxed sets, and over in the UK and Australia, The Lion King 1 1/2 is still called The Lion King 3. I own the US edition, so it has been 1 1/2 from the start.
