I saw that while I was searching on Amazon a month ago. I never thought of buying it so I would love to see what's in it.

On page 50. So far the book has gone over the history of the production of the movie and live musical. Lots of fascinating tidbits. Quite a few photographs and illustrations!
I had heard of this but not in such detail before. Originally Julie Taymer wanted a completely different second half where simba went to a vegas like place and it sounded awful. Thankfully that idea was scrapped early on.
Also the lion king had a few other names before ‘king of the jungle’ and how that name was scrapped. I never realized just how many revisions this film went through with many aspects of it.
