That's a hard one since I'd hate to be forced into silence (assuming I'm around other people) but at the same time I'm already awkward enough without saying what I think, lol.
But I'll go with the first one anyway and just whisper quietly whenever I say something embarrassing even though that's kinda cheating and hope nobody in this hypothetical scenario sees me compulsively muttering to myself.
