Simba lunged at his brother with a growl, albeit playfully. He would not really do anything to try to legitimately harm his slightly older sibling, but he was determined to put up a fight.
[Remember, Simba does win this fight.]

Adofo lunged at his brother and tried to put him in a headlock so he could rub his knuckles into his head like a child

Simba managed to dodge his brother and headbutted his sibling's chest, his tail lashing.
