Disappearance of the Princess [Private, PK091 and Snowy]

Kovu quickly walked in the direction from which Sarafina heard the noise, carefully avoiding twigs or noisy things to step on. He listened carefully for any sign of Kiara, but heard nothing. Meanwhile, Kiara sent another garbled message to Sarafina.

The second Sarafina recieved this message, she sprang into action- bounding to where the muffled sound had come from once more. She knew she should wait for Kovu, but she was so desperate to find her only grandaughter...

[SnowyCheetah]

Kovu was not far behind as Sarafina ran off, apparently having heard Kiara again. Where is she? he asked, ready to pass Sarafina since he could always run faster than her and reach Kiara sooner.

[RayCat]

Sarafina stopped and stared- something had moved, she could sense it. Could it be? She turned to a dark shape on the right, and spoke as loudly as she could, Kiara! Is that you?

[SnowyCheetah]

It was indeed Kiara, laying on the ground in the same position she had been in since she fell. Her mind continued to send garbled telepathic messages to her Grandmother, since she was still unable to wake up. Kovu broke down in tears. Kiara! he exclaimed quietly, rushing to her side.

Kiara! Sarafina stammered, relieved that her grandaughter was safe. She made her face level with Kiara's and nudged her slightly.

[SnowyCheetah]

Kiara laid still, struggling to get her mind in order. She knew nothing more than that she wasn't in a right state and that her Grandmother was near, saying something. Kovu still couldn't hear the garbled telepathy that was being sent from his mate, but he could tell she needed help. With all his strength, he got her onto his back as he had done when he saved her from the wildfires.

You're going to be alright, Kiara, you're gonna be okay... Sarafina comforted her, and then asked Kovu if they should return straight to Pride Rock. If they were, they'd have to hurry so that Kiara could get back on her feet sooner, and they would certainly be away from enemies.
