When You Need To Move On (DGFone and VitanisMate)

As he walked, Frank was trying to remember a song that popped into his head, and therefore did not notice the young lion cub until they crashed into each other. Frank only stumbled, but when he saw that he crashed into a lion cub, he immediately grew frightened. If a cub was around, his mother would surely be too, and would most likely be hostile. "Th- thanks for the tip," he quickly stammered and tried to walk away, but realized that he didn't know which direction was safe. "Where's your mother?" He asked quickly.


Nala smiled. "So how long did that bump last after he taught you your first important lesson?" She asked, referring to when Rafiki got Simba to return from the jungle.

Kopa looked at the lion and said, "Hey mister you're acting mighty strange..." He then said, "Oh she's back at the caves. What are you doing here exactly anyway..." He paused and said, "Look I wouldn't go back where you were since you know those bad lions would kill you and all...I'll take you to my parents alright?"

Simab smiled at Nala and said, "Too long...Longer than I wanted but hey it did knock some sense into me to come back and be king right?"

Frank looked down at the cub. He then realized that everything was closer than he was used to, and he felt extremely short. But technically, he was. "Hey, listen, just tell me where it's safe to leave and I'll be on my way, alright?" At the moment, Frank did not want to deal with real lions. Not while he was still trying to figure out what was going on. But it looked like the cub wouldn't be convinced easily.


Nala smiled again. "And in the end, that's all that matters." As she looked over the land, she spotted the small tan dot that was Kopa, along with a larger dot that looked like another lion. "Who's Kopa with?" She asked, squinting to try and see better.

Kopa however said to Frank, "Hey come on don't be nervous, I mean we won't bite sir..." He beckoned the lion to continue onward to his father and mother. The cub then said, "If it makes you feel better I'll tell them you are a good friend of mine."

Simba looked out and told Nala, "I have no idea...another...lion." He then said, "Should I go see if that lion is dangerous?"

Frank decided that he had to follow the cub. Even though technically, he should stop being afraid of large predators, it wasn't easy after living as a human, a very fragile species that, no matter how much changed, instincts still tell to run from large predators. "Alright, I'll come." He told the cub. "Like I have a choice," he added quietly to himself. "So what's your name?" He finally asked, not realizing that they had yet to exchange names. Should he reply with a fake one, though, or not?

Nala motioned at the lion Kopa was with. "Kopa doesn't seem to be too worried," she replied, "but you are the king, and it is your job to find out who this lion is." She smiled. "I can come with you if you want."

The cub looked at the lion and smiled, thinking that the big lion was starting to be friendly a litte, "Oh my name's Kopa sir." He then pointed to the big rock, "My dad's the king around these parts. Hs name is Simba."

Meanwhile Simba nodded at Nala, "Sure why not?" Meanwhile he travelled down to where his son and the lion was and immediately tried to take charge, "Welcome friend. Perhaps you can tell me your name along with your business for being here..." Kopa said, "Dad really he's oka..." Simba cut him off, "I'll decide that my son. Now go over to your mother just in case." Kopa whispered to Nala, "In case of what mom?"

Frank thought of using the name he quickly made up, but decided against it. He didn't want to learn how to live as another person. Or lion. "My name is Frank," he answered, "And I... I am just passing by." He didn't think that it was a good idea to tell this Simba who Frank really was, so he simply added what was safe. "I am not from around these parts, so I'm rather lost."

Nala smiled down at Kopa. "There's nothing to worry about," she told her son, "just a precaution." But even despite her calm tone, she still made sure that Kopa was safely between her front legs where she can keep an eye on him and still see what was going on.

Simba nodded at him and said, "Well we shall let you stay a few days okay?" He noticed the strange behavior of the lion and said, "You are not to wander far however and when you do you will take an escort with you. Just a precaution to make sure everything is okay." Suddenly Rakifi appeared out of nowhere and looked at Frank, "Oh trust old Rafiki Simba. This lion will mean no harm to you. Asante sana...squash banana..." Simba interrupted him, "Okay Rafiki I shall trust you my old friend. You will not need an escort Frank."

Suddenly Kopa smiled at Frank, thinking they could be good friends, "Hey Frank let me show you around!" He immediately got in front of him and started to yabber his mouth off, "This is where my mom and I sleep...but you see I don't like to sleep...I like to play and talk...and..." he took deep breath from talking so much.

Frank found it slightly amusing how Simba first told him that he would be escorted all the time, only to quickly change his mind upon that strange monkey's word. "You really respect the monkey," he commented to Simba, "how did that become?"

He then looked down at Kopa when the cub spoke up. He chuckled slightly when Kopa said more than his lungs could handle and had to stop. "Well, it looks like I will be staying here for at least a little while, Kopa," he said, "and I am getting the feeling that you wouldn't mind giving me a tour, would you?" He looked at Simba. "If that's alright with you..." He wanted to get a feel of the area, and maybe get a better clue of what happened to him.

Simba frowned at Frank for a moment, "He was the one who convinced me to come back and be king after I exiled myself so Rafiki is much more than 'some monkey.' He is the one I can thank for convincing me to go back besides my mate Nala of course." Simba then looked at Frank and Kopa, "Perhaps just for a few minutes but Kopa you will come back to me at once."

Kopa sighed as his dad said he only had a few minutes to show Frank around, "Ah dad come on!" However he quickly showed Frank around pointing at the land before him. He said proudly, "My dad said one day all of this land will be mine Frank! I'll be king over all of you one day!" Suddenly he showed him around the den and said, "Here is where the cubs and lionesses sleep." Suddenly he saw Vitani and blushed a little, "Uh that's my friend Vitani."
