Nyekundu looked up at her father, and blinked as she got dismissed. Turning around, the fearless teen wondered how Vitani would react when her cub was lost.

Gita was bored. The day was too hot, so most of the time she spent sitting in the shadow of trees or swimming in the waterhole. But how long could lion just sit or swim? She decided to look for Nyekundu, maybe she had any idea what to do...
Gita finally found her friend, but then she noticed that she was talking with king Kovu. She had to wait.

Meanwhile Adahi waits in the dry grass, watching the 2 lionesses.

Gita looked around and then she felt as if she was observed by someone. She looked around again, trying to find out who was staring at her. She walked slowly through the high grasses.
"Is someone over here?", she asked with uncertain voice.

Kuafua looked around, wanting to talk to somebody. He spotted Adahi and decided to walk over to him. "Uh, hi." he said quietly.

Adahi scowls. "Are you trying to mess up my chance here? I'm tryin' to speak to those lionesses! Go find your own spot, dude..."

"Hey, hey, stop it guys! Is it me or you're it's turning to argue?" - interrupted Gita, coming closer to the strangers. She didn't know them, but she was a friendly lioness - maybe even a little naive. "Seems we didn't have chance to get to know each other...You both aren't from the Pridelands, right?" then she added:"My name is Gita."
