(Private) NM and Zeke's RP!

Mila responded with "Sure. Lead the way" and started following Hokori.

[Zeke]

Wtihout another word, Hokori walked out of the cave into the sun. It beat hard down on his gray mane and fur. "Dang, slept in late today," He said as he stretched and looked around. Zeke followed close behind his friend and motioned for Mila and Kiana to come too.

"Hey, wanna race?" Zeke was anxious to get out his energy and running was the perfect thing for him.

"Hehe, think you can beat me this time?" Hokori said confidently

"Shut up, I always beat you." Without warning, Zeke took off, forgetting Mila and Kiana. Hokori followed close behind, trying to keep up.

Mila and Kiana looked at each other with puzzled faces. "That was.... sudden and unexpected." Mila said, still looking puzzled. After a second of watching, Kiana felt the need to say "Eh. Boys will be boys I guess?" And shook her head. The two then started to run after Zeke and Hokori.

[Zeke]

By now, Zeke and Hokori were far away from Pride Rock. Zeke was far ahead of Hokori and he wasn't going to catch up anytime soon, so he looked back at taunted him. "C'mon Hok, is that all you got?" He laughed but continued looking back. Hokori began yelling something that he could not quite make out. Zeke tried hard to make out what he was saying, but suddenly felt the ground leave from under him. He tumbled down the steep cliff like a rag doll with no hope of stopping.

Hokori saw his friend dissapear into the ground and came to a stop at the edge of the cliff and looked down at Zeke who lay motionless on the ground. He looked around for a safe way to get down, but could not find one. He just sat, unsure of what to do.

Mila and Kiana didn't really try to keep up with Zeke and Hokori. They ran towards them, but not very fast. They could barely make out two specs in the distance when one of them disappeared.

Mila was confused. "Huh? What happened to Zeke?" She said. She had kept track of which speck was who.

Kiana thought about the land ahead of them. "Isn't there... like a cliff or something out there? He probably went down there. But.. I didn't know there was a way down.. " she said, confused as well. "Let's go." She said with a concerned tone.

[Zeke]

Hokori paced back and forth on the cliff's edge. "No, no, no," Hokori mumbled to himself. "Dangit." He had completely forgotten about Mila and Kiana because he was anxious to see if his friend was ok. Without reguard of his own safety, Hokori jumped and slid down the cliff on his paws. The sharp rocks tore at his leathery paws, but he could not feel the pain.

He reached the base of the large incline to where Zeke lay. "Hey dude, you ok?" He asked, nearing closer to Zeke, who made no response to his words. Hokori became increasingly worried as he neared his friend who still lay on the dirt, his chest slowly rising a falling. By now it was quite obvious to Hokori that Zeke was knocked unconscious from the fall, but there was no way to get him back up. Hokori was stricken by fear because of the situration he was in. There was no way to get Zeke back up the cliff and the gorge that they were in was getting increasingly darker. The stinging pain of his torn up paws just hit Hokori and he needed to sit down to ease the pain. He finally remembered of Mila and Kiana, possible help, but for now, he just sat

Mila and Kiana were running as fast as they could towards the two. They saw Hokori disappear as well.

"Your sure there isn't a way down? They both went down there" Mila said, panting while running.

After a second of thought, Kiana responded. "No, I don't think so. I've been there a few times, and I've never been able to get down. I guess not, though."

After running at full speed for a minute or two, the two sisters reached the cliff Kiana had talked about. Upon looking down below, Mila noticed Hokori and Zeke lying on the ground. Mila could see blood coming from them both, but especially Zeke.

Mila was in shock. She couldn't take her eyes off of Zeke. "Oh my god" she said. She was stricken with fear. "How do we get down there! We need to help! Zeke!" She walked back and forth. "He's unconscious! Kiana!" She looked at her sister. "What do we do?!?!?" she asked.

Kiana was thinking. "Mila, calm down. You aren't getting down this way. unless you feel like ending up like them." She looked around her. She looked far to her left. "Over there, in the distance. There might be a way down over there."

Mila looked at Kiana. "But this gorge will get dark when the sun isn't directly above us!" She looked up. The sun was directly overhead, filling the gorge with light. But the gorge was so narrow, that in an hour or two the gorge might be completely in shadow.

Kiana looked at her sister. "Well then we better get moving. Come on!" Kiana started running over to where she had pointed out before.

Mila thought. I don't know about you, sis, but I can't let anything happen to them! After a few moments of sitting there, she looked around. There were lots of pointy rocks on the cliff. There was one minuscule section where it looked smooth enough to jump down. Without thinking about it, she ran over to that spot, and jumped. Just like Hokori, Mila's paws were getting cut up on the way down. Sensing pain in her paws, she rolled over, not thinking of the consequences. Her entire back and pelt began to be cut up. The fall down seemed to take forever to Mila. When she finally hit the floor, she was injured. Badly. She got up, and her entire body hurt like she had just been stabbed with a claw around her whole body. Without thinking of herself, she ran towards Hokori and Zeke. "Oh my god" was all that Mila could say. She now had a problem. She had to get these two back to somebody to look at them. She picked up Zeke first. Honestly, she cared more about him than Hokori. With Zeke on her back, she then looked at Hokori. Could she take him as well? She tried to pick up Hokori and put him on her back. After a few tries, she was able to carry them both. Both of the lions on her was intense pressure upon her already hurting legs and paws. She tried as hard as she could to walk with them.

Kiana didn't even look back to see if her sister was following. After she got to the place she was talking about, she couldn't find anywhere to get down. She looked behind her, noticing that Mila wasn't with her. What did she do? she thought. She ran back towards where Zeke and Hokori had fell, only to notice her carrying both of them back to Pride Rock.

Mila looked around her. There was no way out for miles. She started to panic, then become scared. I have to go back the way I came... she thought. Without thinking anymore, she ran, with both lions on her back, to the cliff side. She climbed with all of her strength up. The climb seemed to last for an eternity. With all of her adrenaline, she was able to make it up the cliff. She got to the top of the cliff. Not realizing what an accomplishment it was to climb a cliff of that size with 2 lions on her back, she started to walk back to Pride Rock. She was very close to passing out, because she had used so much energy, and had so many injuries.

Kiana ran to Mila as fast as she could. Mila had Hokori AND Zeke on her back. She was amazed. This is no time for compliments she thought. Kiana noticed that Mila was completely DRENCHED with blood. Her fur was crimson red almost around her entire body, to the point where blood was dripping down. "Give me Hokori. I'll help you." Without another word, Kiana took the large lion off of Mila's back and put it on her own. With only 1 lion on her back now, Mila was able to run. She ran towards Pride Rock, Kiana following close behind.

When the two lionesses got to Pride Rock, all of the lions there stared at them. Many came over to help them. One lioness went to go get Simba and Nala, and get a healer.

Upon setting Zeke down, Mila just collapsed.

[Zeke]

Simba awoke to the calling of his name. "Simba!" His head shot up."What? What is it?"
"A lioness has brought two injured males to pride rock. Come quick!" The lioness said and returned to the scene.

Simba got up and ran out to where the lions lay. "What happened?" He questioned in a voice that commands respect. "And who is this?" He asked, glaring at Zeke. "I dont remember him among the pridelanders."

Kiana had watched Simba walk towards the scene. When Simba asked a question, Kiana had to respond. "Zeke has been around here for a while. You let him stay, remember? He just doesn't come out much...." and without letting Simba talk, she said "Please help them" she said, and she sounded desperate.

[Zeke]

"Hmm" Simba grunted, still glaring at Zeke's unconscious figure. "Where's Raffiki?" He snapped

"I be right next to you," the witty monkey said. He walked over to the three collapsed lions, examining them and beginning to clean Mila's and Hokori's cuts. "Dey be fine," Raffiki said. "Jus tired." The lions watched silently as the monkey went to work, cleaning the wounds and smothering them with a mix of herbs. He then walked over to Zeke, his mane stiff from the dried blood. "Dis one," He said. "Dis one took quite a blow to de head." Raffiki cleaned the wound on Zeke's head and washed off his mane.

Raffiki finished and walked over to Simba. "Tis done. But dey need rest."

"Thank you my friend," Simba said and turned back to the pride. "Find these lions a den, and keep close watch over them. Especially that one," He motioned toward Zeke. Without a word, the lionesses moved the three into a large den near the base of pride rock. They left one guard there to keep watch and left.
