Taken a while (Open for anyone!)

(First topic! WOO! :) )

Dawn slowly stretched it's aching fingers over the landscape, challenging darkness for dominance over the sky. It's hazy rays trickled over the African domain, chasing the shadows of night away. Merali stretched her jaws wide in a yawn, uncurling herself, uncoiling like a cobra. her long, slender forelegs stretched out in front of her as her spine bowed, tail curling over her elegant body. Her muscles rippled under her near-porcelain coat. She dodged sleeping bodies. Paws barely inaudible against the ground, the lioness swiftly removed herself outside, bounding down the side of Pride rock. Small pebbles skittled from her eager feet, the youngster bounding along freely. A sudden scent made her nose quiver. The scent of a stray lion. Of course, this naturally made her curious to whom was out there, as she wasn't usually this far out. Merali, whom had now taken an interest in the scent, crouched low, her movements now smaller as she crept forward, catching sight of a tail.

(I would preferably like you to play said male ^^ And anyone else, pride leader/member/outlander/male's friend! The path is yet to be laid!)

Sighing heavily as he heard footsteps sneaking up behind him the old male wondered if he should scare the you going or just ignore it. Life has grown dull out here on the plains without a pride, a family, to spend the days with. This was the life of an old male though. One who was never a king just the odd uncle outcast. His tail twitched in irritation as pesky flies bit at his hide. Deciding to give the young one some amusement he yawned loudly and waited.
