My Lion King Forum

Leah slowly made her way thought the dark shadowy cave of pride rock. Her ears folded down as she cautiously came forward hoping that maybe the voices she heard was her mother returning. Her dark orange eyes almost glowed in the shadows behind her. Her golden fur was messy and dirty from the days events. She sighed not seeing any sing of her mother, but instead two new lions she didn't quite recognize.

Astrid saw a little cub, seeing how dirty she was. "Hey there. What's your name?"

Leah shuddered back a bit once she was noticed. "L-Leah" the little cup said in a small quite voice as she slowly came forward more peering up at the bigger lions, the light lit up more of her features, such as the tuff of fur at the top of her head, she didn't always like it because it sometimes got into her eyes, but everyone always told her it would grow out as she got older. As she moved forward she limped a little, her back leg slightly bent.

Astrid gasped slightly, coming forward a little. "What happened?"

"I- I don't really remember." Leah answered. "My mom, and I were out, she was teaching me to hunt. A-and the next thing I know she tells me to hide behind this rock. So I did and I wanted to see what was going on, so I climbed up on the rock but slipped and fell of. The grass was too high for me to see anything so I just stayed there hiding but Mom, never came back for me. " She looked down at the ground. "I- I don't know what happened to her. Or how I got back here..."

Astrid's eyes widened, then she carefully pulled Leah close and hugged her. "I'll help you find her."

"You Will?" Leah's little eyes lit up and widened. Her small tail wagged behind her. "When can we start? Now? Can we start now? Or first thing in the morning?"

Astrid chuckled, petting Leah on the head. "We'll do it in the morning. I'm Astrid, by the way, and this is my little brother, Patrick."

"Where did you come from?" Leah asked looking at the two lions. "I haven't seen you here before?"

"Um... We're new to this area."
