He had just lost a ‘friend’ that he had built trust in for years. And well, since Flash is related, he likely has zero tolerance for him. He doesn’t want to build any trust with anyone related to him. He’s definitely got some type of trust issues now.”

"Well, how should we approach this going forward?"

[Stormy]

“I.. don’t know. I think it’s kind of obvious his mind won’t be changed. Even if, it’d be a super long time. Both cubs would probably be grown by then.”

"I think we need to stage another intervention."

[Stormy]

“Kayla, I’m afraid if you keep trying to hop into it one of these times i won’t be the one getting hurt. You’re gonna need to be more careful. I’m worried for you. I’m surprised in fact, he hasn’t gone for you. If I talked to him the way you did I’d have 2 broken legs.”

"Well, what else CAN we do?" Kayla sighs, bowing her head with a mixture of sadness and frustration.

Sadie comes back in and notices Kayla looking down. Sadie goes over to Kayla and nuzzles her. “I don’t think there’s anything we can do.” Jay says.

"So, just let him work it out himself?"

“Maybe... but that would mean you would REALLY need to watch your back and Flash.”
