Scar Enjoys His Reflection (Funny Poem)

I feel really weird for making so many posts--and not many poems have been posted here--but this is just a humorous poem I made up about Scar. It just took a few minutes, so I thought, why not post it?
Feedback, is, of course, welcome.
Scar is the subject of the third-person narration, but he speaks in first-person in quotations. There are many references to reflections in TLK, and I knew what Scar would be thinking if he was looking at his reflection.
He grinned at the water--admired his reflection
when his eyes met that burnt-sienna complexion.
"What shall I do," said he, in his self-inspection,
"With overflowing, delightful self-directed affection?"
"I, in there, am admiring me, out here; I count the ways,
the uncountable ways, to share with myself my own selfish praise!"
He felt his heart torn, not knowing what to do,
saying, "Reflection, why should I share with you!?"
"Oh how I love me, how I love my depravity!
"How can I get enough to fill my heart's cavity?"
With a serpentine gait he walked about;
His grin turned to a frown on both sides of his snout.
"Idiots surround me, unable to see
why I deserve their idolatry!"
"The problem is this: that only I can see,
only I can know, what wonders comprise me!
For only I am on that level, and only I have the smarts
The obstacle to overcome is their inability!"
"So I'll make it my mission,
yes I'll gain their submission,
through irresistibility
through brilliant sedition."
