The story of Zong

Chapter 1

It was a normal day in the outlands and a lioness was giving birth. In a few minutes she had twins. A boy who was brown with two aqua stripes on his eyes and a girl who was all aqua. The lioness, Roppa thought hard of there names. She said," I will call the female Aqua-Marine and the male... Zong!" then she licked their little furry heads. Roppa locked around for her mate but he was no where to be seen. She got up and picked up the two cubs with her teeth and searched for her mate. They searched high and low but could not find him. Then when they got to the river of the Outlands they saw him dead. Roppa had a tear to her eye and then shouted," Marcoo!" She couldn't stop crying. The cubs where only newborns so had not figured out what had happened.

A few years later...

Zong was in the Outlands playing with Kovu, they where the same age and both where cubs. They where playing fight and Zong kept winning and pinning Kovu. Kovu got angry all the time and went in little moods but Zong always made him feel better. Kovu then said to Zong," No matter what happenes we will be friends, right?" Zong then replied," Right!" The both smiled and then Zira came and took Kovu home, it was getting late. So Zong went home too as happy as ever. When he got home Aqua-Marine was there smiling at him," I have a boy friend" she said but Zong rolled his eyes while smiling. " Come on lets got to bed"

The next morning Zong yawned and ran to Kovu's den but on the way there he saw Kovu talking to Kiara. Zong went into the tall grass staring in dismay he say them two laughing. Zong gasped and growled, it was the first time he ever growled. He was going to pounce on Kovu but before he could do anything Zira growled and Simba growled. He thought be better go. This time he went home with his dead down," We said we wouln't make friends with anyone else, not even a Pridelander!" he mumbled to himself on the way home.
