lives in tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Congo. it is also called snake plant, mother-in-law's tongue, and viper's bowstring hemp. The fruit is orange collerd. they can be as tall as 6 feet. In southern Floridia, they are everywhere. Their leaves come in manny collors.

Pic was taken by me. The computer maked the quality look sooo bad though, which sucks becuase my printed photo of it was very good.
