Warrior Cats Roleplay with Zoketi [Private]

[You're welcome. You deserved it anyway. Hey, I made something for you.]

Beetlepaw chased after the rabbits as they fled, speeding after the small creatures. Being small and lithe added to his advantage, as opposed to a large, stockier, muscular cat. His eyes were narrowed with determination and his paws were speeding under him, as if moving without him really "telling" them to.
He grunted as he sank his teeth into a rabbit's hindquarters and dragged it behind, flicking his tail and gesturing for Littlepaw and Owlscreech to go chase after the other two running rabbits.

Littlepaw watched Beetlepaw head off after the rabbits too. She charged along after Owlscreech, tucking her head and galloping along. She loved running as any other WindClanner would. She swerved to the left after the smallest rabbit, and pounced when she was close. She and the lagomorph rolled together over the grass until Littlepaw got a grip and sunk her teeth into its neck. She glanced over, blinking, to see Owlscreech holding up the other rabbit. Now, to find Beetlepaw and head back to her sister. She ambled forwards, dragging her huge catch with her. As small as it was for a rabbit, it was almost bigger than she was.

[I'm sorry, okay, I had to. xD
Do you like it?]

Beetlepaw, despite being an older apprentice, struggled with the lagomorph. He seemed to not be able to reach the fat rabbit's neck and in his defense, the creature was putting up a good fight, he had to admit. It was kicking at his face and flailing, squirming and making high-pitched squealing sounds.
After a few moments of wrestling, he sank his sharp teeth into its neck. Finally. He picked up the rabbit and saw Littlepaw heading over and sighed with relief. He sensed that Owlscreech had gotten the other rabbit.
"Good job!" Lilypaw mewed proudly to her sister and Beetlepaw as she saw the two warrior apprentices approach.

Owlscreech headed back, having the easiest time dragging his catch due to his larger size. Littlepaw flicked her tail with pleasure as she heard her sister's compliment, but couldn't speak with the prey in her jaws. She bobbed her head happily as she saw Beetlepaw as well, with the third rabbit. Once the group was back together, Owlscreech dropped his prey to talk. "Let's take these back to camp." WindClan often took their prey directly home after catching it because it was hard to bury, being so large, and the lack of trees made it even more vulnerable to scavengers.

"Okay," Beetlepaw managed to meow through the rabbit's fur. Though he was able to speak, his voice was very muffled. It sounded more like "Urrmphkeh." He flicked his tail and his ear, a bit embarrassed at how ridiculous he sounded. "Mrrrmph. Lesh heb back to camph hen." He hoped his Clanmates would be able to make out what he was saying.
Lilypaw jumped up, grabbed the branch of horsetail in her mouth, and followed after her Clanmates and her big sister. She stumbled a little at first, the horsetail a bit heavy in her jaws. But she flicked her ear in pleasure that each cat in their little Patrol wouldn't return to their camp with empty paws.

Littlepaw lifted her head, tugging the rabbit along with her. Nearly as big as her, she didn't think this would be an easy trip. Nevertheless she continued on proudly, still quite happy with the catch. She padded next to her littermate, eyes bright despite her tiredness. Owlscreech led the way back to camp with his rabbit, and Beetlepaw padded in the center.

[Did I really capitalize "patrol"? Ugh, sorry. ;-;]

Lilypaw purred despite the weight of the horsetail. Hopefully Tawnystar would be pleased that there would be three plump new rabbits to add to the fresh-kill, and she hoped Bluestrike would be happy that she brought a horsetail plant for their medicine stores. It was a relatively clean plant, not stained and coated with filth and mud- she probably wouldn't have picked it up if that was the case. When the three warriors finally dropped of their kills at the fresh-kill pile, would they stop for the day and rest, or would they go back to the borders and hunting grounds?

The white apprentice was glad to see the camp ahead. Her jaw ached badly. As the patrol returned, Owlscreech headed for the fresh-kill pile, as did the two warrior apprentices, to set the rabbits down. Littlepaw was quite relieved to drop her catch. She worked her jaw for a moment, then stepped back and stretched her tired muscles. Owlscreech glanced over. "Good job, you three." he flicked his tail as a dismissal, and padded away. Littlepaw sat down where she was and yawned widely.

Lilypaw carried the horsetail plant to the den, where she saw her mentor. "I got a horsetail plant," she mewed, her voice also muffled and unclear. It sounded more like "I gosh a horshtail plamt." She dropped it, where it clattered on the floor of their medicine den. She cocked her head, hoping her mentor would be pleased.

Beetlepaw stretched, then sat beside the smaller white-furred apprentice. "Is that your first rabbit you've caught on your own without your mentor around?" he queried. He suddenly winced inwardly, cursing himself silently. He hoped that Littlepaw wouldn't find his question like a mocking comment or a teasing remark. Think before you open your big mouth! he thought. He shook his inward annoyance away and cocked his head at Littlepaw.

[Liek, Zoki, I gosh a horshtail plamt]

Bluestrike glanced around, scenting both his apprentice and some fresh herbs. He blinked at her then nodded. "Good." he murmured, sweeping his tail towards the stores to motion for her to put it with the rest of the horsetail. He turned back away, sniffing at the collection of coltsfoot.

The she-cat twitched her ears as she heard her friend's voice. Turning towards him, she narrowed her eyes in mock annoyance. "Actually it is." she murmured with a little flick of her tail. She lifted her chin with pride and glanced towards the fresh-kill pile, where her small rabbit lay waiting to be chosen. She glanced back to Beetlepaw, ears pricked.
