Ash turned seeing a large group. "They ruined it!" Ash shouted looking back at the mountain, "Ruined!" She screamed.

It was then that Lupe stepped forward to help her fellow wolf. "Listen to me. Feeling anger at what the Kremlings did is natural, but believe me when I say that you don't want to feed that emotion. It's what Anti-Aleena and her husband want. By being angry, you're falling right into their trap," she said.

Ash took a deep breath, "That was part of my packs history and it will never grow back the same."
Ash said letting her head hang down. "That's all I had left of him." Ash said turning away and tearing up a little.

Lupe was suddenly overcome with a pang of sadness. "Left of who?" she asked.

"My father. He named me after the wolf who lived on that mountain. Ash the great wolf, he saved his land and my father was so inspired by it." Ash said before picking up a paw and wiping her tears.

Lupe tried to avoid shedding a tear. "The Kremlings are gone. It is time to let go. Take this as a bit of advice from one wolf to another," she said.

Ash looked at Lupe. "Alright." She continued, "My names Ash and you are?"

Lupe smiled a bit. "My name is Lupe. I am a friend of Sonic's and was once romantically involved with him," she said.

"With a hedgehog?" Ash whispered putting a paw over her mouth so no one but Lup could see her mouth moving.

Lupe smiled happily as she remembered those days.. "Yes. Interspecies romances are fairly common in our kingdom," she answered. She sighed. "We were very happy together," she said.
