In a land where animals live in reletive harmony, though preditor and prey still exist, everyone is happy. But when geological disruptions occur, and things change...

...something is clearly becoming skewed in their home. Forced to band together, a group of animals set off to find what is causing this disruption...

This disruption in the enviorment is caused by crystals. Evil crystals corrupted their creator - a creature that is no longer identifiable as the darkness seiged their soul and turned them into a bloodthirsty beast. All the same, the crystals were originally intended to make meadows greener and water cleaner.

Sharu: A prehistoric cave lion(I praise this interesting animal use), tan with white belly, inside of legs and muzzle, has faint spots. Male.[RPed by KingKovu(Great job!)]
Sindri: A fully grown male brass dragon. [RPed by Cheetahstar]
Eridor: A lion-sized, emerald green dragon. Male. [RPed by Nitro]
DarkSiege: A black dragon. Muscular, powerful, fearable. Has dark violet-red eyes. [RPed by Nyota]

Blackensoul: A great winged beast, the dark crystals corrupted to a point that shadowy mist drifts from its wings. Resembles a dragon. [Nyota]
NightShatterer: A powerful dark beast, almost looks like a silouette of a great stag with eyes. Resembles a caribou. [Nyota]
Venombreath: The creator of dark crystals. Reduced to an unidentifiable mass of dark shadow that can take any shape it wishes, having peircing red eyes and a shreik that can paralyze weaker souls in fear. [Nyota]

Sharu yawned and lifted his 930-pound frame off the floor of his den. It was time for a hunt. The cave lion was thrilled at the prospect of a fresh kill.

Darkseige's great and muscular wings bent the wind to the black-scaled dragon's will. He scanned the ground, looking for prey. Darkseige soon found a bullet of pale green in his side - Lex.

Of course.

The bright dragon would never leave Darkseige alone. "Lex," he growled, showing no emotion. "I am trying to hunt."
She laughed, her brother, Felix, flying up. "Oh, c'm on, Darkseige," Lex laughed. "Stop being so stoic all the time!"

It was now time. Sharu began his hunt for some of the large prey species that he shared his area with, like bison.

Darkseige rolled his eyes and flew away from them, much disliking the two brighter dragons. He let his gaze rake the meadows.

At the moment, Sharu was stalking a bison. He stayed down for as long as he could. Finally, he struck, bringing down and killing the bison. He then began to eat.

Darkseige soon spotted Sharu. He took a hard plunge and landed gracefully a short distance away. "Brilliant job," he said. His eyes were flat, but his voice betrayed admiration.

Sharu looked up and the sound of the voice, his face covered in blood from his kill. "Who are you?" the huge feline said aloud.

[Nyota]

"Darkseige," he replied, sitting down. Soon enough, Lex and Felix landed next to him.
"Hi!" Lex said brightly. "Who're you? Nice job on the bison!"
She was silenced by her brother's... erm, elbow? "Excuse my sister. I'm Felix, she's lex."

Sharu nodded. "My name is Sharu. I'm a rogue who left his pride to find his own way," he said.
