This is the RP that Sixshot1988 and I have been planning today. We are starting now.

Title: Hedgehog Empire

Story: The Floating Island is the realm of the mighty King Levi and Queen Aleena. Their family consists of Sonic, Knuckles (who was adopted) and a young Shadow. They are making an alliance with the king of the Kingdom of Acorn, who has sent his lovely daughter, Sally Acorn, to meet Sonic and Knuckles. Everything seems peaceful, but evil forces are coming. Can the kingdom survive?

Everything was peaceful on the Floating Island. The biggest news of the day was that Sally Acorn, the gorgeous daughter of King Max Acorn of the Kingdom of Acorn, was heading to the island to meet one of the princes to marry in order to seal an alliance between the kingdoms. Levi and Aleena sat on their thrones, looking at two of their three sons, a young adult echidna named Knuckles and a child hedgehog named Shadow. Levi smiled. "Greetings, my sons. As you know, this is an important meeting. Princess Sally will be here soon. Where is your brother?" he asked. The brother in question was a blue-furred hedgehog with the power of great speed. He had a history of blowing off royal duties to have fun and run on the palace running course.

Knuckles groaned as he, Chaotix, tails and shadow set looking for Sonic, again! "I swear that hedgehog has no concept of Duty." Knuckles groaned. He remembered when he first met Sonic. A then seven year old Knuckles found the Prince had wandered into the Pitz, the roughest place in the whole empire. After the young punk and his friends Chaotix, saved Sonic after the Hedgehog had bit off more than he could chew from scratch's crew, the Badniks. Knuckles was eventually adopted into the royal family While Chaotix was content with being his friends and body guards. " There he is." Charmy said, running along the Palace course, again. "come on Sonic, we're late!" Knuckles said, gliding in and punching his Hedgehog brother up side the head. Shadow and Chaotix laughed. "Honestly Sonic, would kill you to at least pretend to be responsible?" Knuckles asked his "Brother" Shadow walked up beside Knuckles. "Yeah Sonic, but it's always fun to watch Knuckles bring you back." The young hedgehog laughed.

Sonic smiled. "You shouldn't whack me like that, Knuckles. I find it really funny when Amy comes and hits you with her hammer over it," he said with a laugh.

" How about this?" Knuckles said as he put sonic into a head lock and gave him a noogie.

Sonic struggled a bit and finally pulled himself free. He took a deep breath. "So, what's so important that you came to get me?" he asked, wondering why his brothers and friends would bother like this. He thought for a long moment. "Is the Floating Island being invaded?" he asked jokingly.

Knuckles glared at Sonic. "Don't even joke like that. You know Princess Sally of the Acorn Kingdom is coming today, we're suppose to greet her." Knuckles told Sonic.

Sonic then remembered the event. "Oh yeah, that chick that one of us is supposed to marry. Well, I am exceedingly handsome. I'm sure she'll be most attracted to me," he said with a cocky smile.

Knuckles face palmed himself. "Not with that conceded attitude she won't, now come on, unless you want to go the hard way?" He said to his brother. The hard knuckles referred to was him dragging Sonic back, usually kicking and screaming. "Please choose the hard way, that's always funny to watch." Shadow said laughing.

Sonic looked at him. "Let's go the easy way this time. I want to see if she's really as hot as Mom and Dad said she is," he said as he started heading for the doors that led from the running course into the palace. There was much to do, as he had to take a shower, brush his teeth and put on his royal cape and crown.
