She had a habit of pointing out the obvious, even if it wasn't what others wanted to hear. There were suddenly gunshots up ahead and Alice automatically reached for one of the guns at her side. Some of the crowd suddenly began to run backwards and she looked at the cause of the scare. Umbrella. Of course. Hate suddenly filled her and she began to stride forwards through the crowd.

"They won't land a hit on me" Alice said confidently and darkly as she ploughed through the crowd.

Her eyes were flickering with the umbrella sign, unknown to her as she got closer. One of the men looked down on her and ordered the others to fall back. Alice swore and ran forwards.
