"Amber! Come on! Your hair looks fine!", shouted a slightly annoyed Princess by the name of Amy. It was a bright spring morning, and the 15 year old was currently waiting for her best friend, Amber, who was still upstairs in her bathroom. They had to catch the Royal Train to Caspiatova from Ordaea in order to meet the Prince there.

Amy also knew her fiancé, Drake would be waiting impatiently. He was the real reason she didn't want to be too late, because she knew he'd have a go at her. Even Blaine was ready, her cousin, her gay cousin who usual took hours to get what he was wearing together. He was standing behind her last time she checked.

She wondered where Drake actually was, she had a funny feeling he'd come looking for her. He was always on her back, watching what she was doing. Like he actually cared for her. Amy rolled her eyes, but realized if she ever did that in front of him (roll her eyes that is) she'd get a slap. Dramatic? Not at all. She tried her best to cover up brusies and the such he had given her on a regular basis, only Amber seemed to notice.

Then again, Amber knew if Amy was keeping secret's from her. Amy of course, lied about how she got them, and from what Amy saw, Amber never looked convinced but never took it any further.

"No it doesn't! It's frizzy, and so terrible! The train can wait a few more mere moments." The Dutchess shouted down the stairs, as she pricked and pulled at her brown, long hair. She'd grown quite fond of her beauty, and would strain herself and take long hours to make sure she was absolutely perfect every single time she went out. T

his time was extra important, she was leaving the Kingdom of Ordaea and travelling to Caspiatova, to meet lovely Prince Eric and his adopted sister, Juliette. As a part of the Royal Rounds that are critical every now and then. This bring Ambers first time, she HAD to look divine for The Prince and Princess of Caspiatova.

Blaine sighed then started tapping his left foot in annoyance. "Amy. Can't we just-" He paused letting out a quick sigh and rolling his hazel eyes. "Can't we just leave Miss Prissy here? I mean-we already have one perfect member here." Spying a large mirror and gliding towards it, only to strike a few poses. He knew he was a cocky, and everyone else did too, he was just indecisivably perfect.

Blaine has been openly gay ever since he's begun to grow feelings for another human. His heart yearned for those of the same gender, and his personality had grown to accompany that of a man, making him more feminine then most males. Though, he didn't mind getting gawed at or stared at as he walked through the town, he loved the attention.

Amy rolled her sky blue eyes when she heard what Amber said, Amy, being an early bird, had gotten up extra early to make sure she was ready. She was lucky her hair usual stayed in place, her fringe never moved for some reason. Amy was thankful for that though, it meant she didn't have to brush it every 10 minutes. She glanced into a mirror by the bottom of the stairs, just to make sure. The Princess wasn't as confident as her two closest friends, even though she was deemed higher up in the Royal family.

She guessed Drake had something to do with that, he was forever putting her down by using snide comments or mean remarks. She couldn't complain about it to anyone though, as part of the war treaty, she knew she'd be risking the kingdom. Snapping out of her somewhat depressed trance, she heard Blaine speak. His voice was higher than Drake's, but Amy treated him just the same. It was great to have a friend like Blaine. He knew exactly what to where, and he gave the best clothing advice. She laughed at his words, 'Miss Prissy', she knew Amber and Blaine had a love/hate relationship, but in the end, she knew the two were close friends.

"I wish we could", pausing, she smiled at his poses in the mirror, "I surprised guys out there don't do a double take when you walk past Blaine". They both knew there was other gay members in the kingdom, but they were probably in the closet. She glanced at the suit he was wearing. He knew how to dress him self ever so well. Amy then looked at the time, they were going to be late. Drake said he'd meet them at the station. Amy panicked a little. "Right, Amber, if you don't come down in the next 10 seconds I'm leaving without you!".

With a sigh, the self revolved Dutchess flew from the bathroom in a burgundy dress, and black, laced up heels. She stood at the top of the winding stairs and cleared her throat to gather the attention. "Do I look good? Is this too much?" Her voice rung through the halls, and into the ears of her friends. "Should I change? Or should I just go with it?" Amber pleaded for them to answer. For a better look, she did a small twirl, hoping she looked perfect.

Blaine let out a violent sigh then turned to Amber, rolling his eyes then leaning on his one legs with his angular hip sticking out. "Sweetheart, you look fine." He said in a gentle tone, hoping se would hurry up and leave the palace now. "Now can we please leave, I'd simply hate to anger the supposedly handsome Prince Eric by being late." Letting his voice trail off, recalling the stories he's heard of Prince Eric, and how handsome he was described to be.

Amy gazed at Amber, smiling kindly. She always did look amazing in whatever she wore. Amy herself was wearing a pale blue dress with dainty silk pale blue heels. And of course, her silver tiara with a blue diamond incrested into the front. She had to wear one of those things on any royal event. There was a difference between Amy's beauty and Amber's beauty. She didn't quite know how to describe it, but out of the two Amy almost always looked the most natural. It was a matter of preference when it came to what guys liked.

"Then again", Amy thought, "Drake checks out any female that walks past". Her thoughts trailed to Drake's relationship with her friends, there wasn't much of one for he had a strong disliking for Blaine. However, he was always flirtatious around Amber and that made Amy feel low, very low. Amber hardly ever returned with her own flirtatious side but at times she couldn't help it, but she prevented herself so not to hurt her best friend's feelings.

Amy sighed ever so slightly and picked up her small bag, just containing a couple of items. They'd be staying at Prince Eric's castle mansion, which Amy knew was going to be pleasant. She heard Blaine speak and decided to voice her own opinion,

"You do look fantastic Amber". Then she heard Blaine speak of the 'supposedly handsome' Eric. She doubted Eric was gay, but the tales of the countless girls that had fallen for him and he could not return the love because he hadn't found the right girl yet were plentiful.

Amy hadn't a choice when it came to relationships. Of course, her mother and father cared about her, but they were always away on Royal duties. Her mother did take a disliking towards Drake, and did her father but knew the engagement had to happen on behalf of the kingdom. However, all Amy could think about now was how she was going to present herself, what she was going to say.

She knew how these things worked. Amy, Eric and Drake were at the same level of Royalty, so thinks between them could be a little less formal. Introducing her friends would be the more formal side, and then the tour of the kingdom. She remembered the last one, hundreds of people came to watch the Royal Carriage go by. Sighing, she began walking towards the door, "Are we all ready then? Or do you have to hold us up even longer Amber", she grinned, saying it as a joke, but she really did want to get going.

The guards holding open the door to Amy's personal household smiled and bowed at seeing her at the door, she smiled back. She had a lot of respect for those who serve her, even though she tried to do most of the things a servant would do herself. She could see a carriage ready to pick them up and take them to the train station, the driver looked slightly annoyed, that wasn't surprising though.

Amber blushed and started walking down the stairs, "Oh stop it you two!" Smiling at her two best friends using a very flattering voice. The young girl let out a sigh towards Amy. "Well, I guess we can go now, since I look perfect!" Almost shouting the last words before turned to the servants and clearing her throat. "Carry my things to the carriage." She paused, bringing her hand up and looking at her perfectly manicured nails. "I wouldn't want to break a nail! See look!-" Showing the nails to the servants. "-They're perfect, just like me!" Flattering herself before standing in-between Blaine and Amy. "We can go now." She mumbled, putting her hands together and straightening her back.

Blaine let out a excited sigh, then turned to the door looking the best he could, as many people were waiting to see them, some even for the first time. "I love being the center of attention. The looks people give when they see my beauty is astonishing!" He laughed, then turned to Amy. "Are we ready to go? The servants packed the carriage, and the driver looks very unimpressed." His voice trailed off to a whisper, noticing the pressed lips, and frowning wrinkles on the man. "Maybe we should pay him a little more, so he doesn't drive us into a ditch." Giggling slightly then straightening his posture. "Ready." Nodding his head at Amy and smiling, taken back by the beauty of the crown.

Amy rolled her eyes at both of her friend's comments. She also gazed out of the door and focused on the crowds. That was one thing she had never gotten used to. The attention. Everyone wanted to see 'The Princess of Ordaea' herself. As well as the Duchess, and the Princess' cousin. She heard Blaine's whisper and giggled as well,

"Uh-huh". Amy's giggle almost seemed to light up the room, when people first meet her, they notice her sense of humor and her giggle. It was then people remembered she was only young, at 15, she wasn't an adult and didn't feel like one. Making sure she was fully in order, she stepped out of the doors and was welcomed by a huge cheer.

She kept her posture as she walked towards the carriage, and gave a couple of waves. She smiled brightly. Amy had been told by her mother that the best thing you can do while in public is too look like your enjoying it. Something else that struck Amy was that there were alot of kids watching her. 13 year old boys gawping at her and little girls desperately wanting to be a Princess like her.

The jewels on the tiara seemed to sparkle and dance in the sunlight, they matched the colour of her eyes, a sky blue. She looked behind her, wondering if Blaine and Amber had begun the walk to the carriage. It should take less than a minute, but of course her Royal Highness had to walk slow and delicately. There were guards keeping the citizens behind barriers for her saftey, not that she was in danger.

Amber stayed right beside Amy, walking just as delicately as she did. Men around her age desperately wanted her and continuously called out her name and reached for her. With a smile, she blew a kiss at the boys who all tried to 'catch' the kiss as it came. Giggling, she turned to a beautiful girl, who seemed about 3-4 who reached for her. She picked her up and gave her a big hug, and a light kiss on the cheek before handing her back to her parents.

Gazing at the golden and silver carriage before her, she still walked along Amy's side. Amy was her best friend, let alone her cousin aswell. Smiling, she gazed at Amy who seemed more beautiful than ever. The tiara on her head really did a number for her, as her beauty seemed to be tied up with the tiara.

The handsome Blaine watched as countless girls reached for him, he kissed their hands but did not feel any attraction to them. Until he saw a black haired, blue eyed man standing there smiling at the Royal Family. The gutless Blaine reached out towards him, and struck a kiss to his cheek, causing the girls to go crazy over Blaine. The man simply backed up and smiled, gently rubbing his cheek with his hand. Blaine took a step back from the crowd and joined Amy and Amber for the last moments of the walk, he went towards the door of the carriage, and held his hand out for Amy so she could get up.

A pair of red eyes watched the Royal Party walk down the stairs with a growl. Amy was late, late to see her fiance. The red eyed man scowled in the darkness of the carriage before the door suddenly opened. Blaine, who held his hand out for the girls stood there not knowing who was watching him. The red eyed man named Drake growled slightly, but then put on his best face for everyone else.

(OOC: Blaine is Amy's cousin, not Amber. I probably have confused you lol, I really need to work out a family tree for this xD Amber got made Duchess by Amy's wishes, so she could join her on Royal Duties)

Amy glanced behind her, watching the crowds go mental over Blaine and Amber. She chuckled. The crowds often loved it when the two joined her. Even though seeing the Princess was amazing, seeing others was even better as well. She would of done more with the crowds if she hadn't of been so anxious about Drake. She rose an eyebrow when Blaine kissed that guy, she giggled and when Blaine opened the door she said to him quietly,
"That guy is still smiling ya know, I think he liked it".

She took her friends hand and before climbing in, turned and waved to the crowd for a last time getting a huge roar of cheers in approval. Amy, not knowing Drake was in there, suddenly saw a pair of red eyes. She gave a 'meep' and stumbled backwards, only to realize it was her fiance. She stopped smiling and sat down looking at him with a slight nervous feeling,
"I-um...sorry we're late Drake. Just a bit caught up with getting ready", she managed to mumble. She didn't want to blame Amber directly.

She doubted Drake would say anything to her if her friends were present in the carriage. But she knew he'd get her alone at some point. After all, there were going to share a room at Prince Eric's castle. Remembering the seating plan on the train she let out a slight sigh, she had forgotten that it was 2 to a compartment on the Royal Train.

She'd have to be with him. He would probably share a compartment with Amber voluntarily, but Amber wouldn't like that. And Drake would definitely not share with Blaine. He despised him. She managed to put a smile back on her face, and waited for Amber and Blaine to get in.

Drake violently sighed, "Next time be quicker." He growled before Amber stepped in. A smile wscaped his lips she sat down. With a glare to Amy he looked to Amber. "I'm guessing it took a while to get your hair so perfect." Lightly touching the ends of her hair, and feeling the texture. "Such lustre." Complementing her, making the Dutchess blush.

"It's just hair." Amber snapped at him, pulling her hair out of his hands. Dutchess Amber didn't really approve of Drake, he seemed to uncommitted to be engaged to her best friend. Glaring at him, her eyes turned to slivers before smoothing her hair. "Anyways, what time down the train leave, Amy?" Turning to Amy with a wide smile, and grabbing her hands.

Blaine hopped up into the carriage after waving and blowing kisses to the cheering crowd. He turned to see the menacing red eyes as he sat beside Amber, across from his cousin. "Drake." Nodding to the man he hated. "I can't wait until we get to Caspiatova!" Smiling, then crossing his legs and placing his hands on his knees. "I wonder how beautiful the view is!" Giggling, as he rested his head back.
