It was evening in the wild forests of Alaska. The snow was falling, the air was chilly. Standing atop a rocky hill was a massive male alpha wolf. His name was Thor, and he was busy surveying his pack's domain.

Down near the den, a female wolf as white as snow was lying inside to escape the cold breeze. Mionie rested her head on her paws, she did not feel extremely tired, for it was only the evening, but still, she let out a yawn and waited to see if anyone else was going to come inside the den.

Mirada was laying on the soft snow thinking about her life in the pack. The snowflakes dropped on her white, snowy fur. Her green-like eyes where on her mate Thor. She raised her head off the snowy ground below and smiled at him. He was loved by all. Mirada was proud to be his mate, she loved him with all her heart and would risk her life for him. She wondered when their next battle would be with other packs, it must be soon. It was so cold, she didn't want to think about death. She loved her pack. She curled up in a ball. Eveyone thought she was tough and heartless but she had a soft side like the other members of the pack. She just didn't show it. She didn't want to show it, why should she. She was happy being herself.

Thor finally came down from the rock and went to his mate's side. Nuzzling her by means of a greeting, he looked into her eyes. "Well, Mirada, so far, the caribou herds still seem plentiful. We have no trouble," he said.

Mirada saw her mate come beside her. "Oh I hope you're right, Thor. I really do." She nuzzled him back and then looked out at the snowy hills and ground. She was ready to fight but it didn't mean she wanted to. She looked over to Mionie who was in the cave. She wanted to be friendlier with the pack members but she saw that as weakness. She did care for them all and would die for them all. None of them knew it. She stood up licking her mate's cheek.

Thor returned the lick, then laid down. "And then, all that's left is to keep my brother from coming back and trying to wrest pack leadership from me," he added.

Loki wasn't far, but indeed he was not close. The younger brother of Thor had made a treaty with the pack far from the Alaskan Pack of his brother, RP get revenge on that pack for choosing Thor instead of him. With every pawstep, he took note on the surroundings. Finding out where the large pack of wolves he made a treaty with, could hide before the attack.
To admit, he was cold, but the black fur covering his body kept him warm by covering his skin and attracting sun rays. Tree after tree, he marked them in his head and kept walking. Walking slowly, but making progress.

Mirada smiled at Thor," Yes, I know." She walked away and walked towards the lake. She took a drink and then decided to go leave the pack for a moment. She had someones scent. But whos? She had smelt it before, if only she could figure out who it was. She walked towards the scent. It was getting stronger.

Thor decided to follow his mate at a distance, having also caught the scent. Silently, he walked, not letting anyone know that he was there.
