Frozen RP - NKL and NS83

Anna woke up tiredly and yawned. She stretched her arms upward and heard knocking on the door. Her long brown hair stood up messily and looked like a little nest. She woke up to a guard's voice and nodded.

"Huh! *yawn* Oh yeah, the castle opening...mhmm. I'll be there,"she said tiredly not knowing what she was saying.

Then, her eyes were fixed on a long green dress she was supposed to wear. That reminded her of the gates being opened.

"The gates are going to be opened! I bet Elsa's already there,"she said.

She got up as fast as she could and slipped on her beautiful dress. The green dress brought out the dark green in her almond shaped eyes. She twirled around once more and arranged her hair into two neat braids. Her brown hair was in order and she looked royal. She frowned slightly. She rearranged her two braids into another hairdo, the ones she often saw princesses wear in movies. It felt too strange. She could feel the annoyed guard's tapping from outside the door. She already saw groups of people with excited murmurs coming into the castle. She nervously looked in the mirror in a fancy bun with specks of hair falling to the side of her head. It was proper for the occasion. She spent some time choosing which one to wear, then looked at the time again.

"Oh my god! Elsa's going to kill me!"she said to herself.

She hurried herself out of the door bowing to the guard who looked at her confused. She forgot her slippers and went back to get some simple heels, and before she was about to decide which footwear was going to look best on her dress, Kristoff came in.

"Kristoff? Kristoff!"she said.

She jumped on to him and he set her down laughing.

"You came, oh its going to be so exciting. Can you believe it, for my whole life I was trapped inside. Now the gates are going to be opened,"she said smiling.

She dragged him and tugged him by the sleeves and rushed him outside. She bowed courteously to the other guards that were covering the door and blocking the view. She slightly giggled, she was getting better at the her 'royal manners.' Kristoff waved to them slightly and went outside with a tug of force from Anna. She was a strong little girl. He was slightly caught off balance and he was standing in front of thousands of people. Anna widened her smile to show off her pearly white studs and requested Kristoff do the same.

"Just smile and....um wave,"she instructed him.

She caught a view of Elsa in her whitish blue gown that fell almost to the floor and in the back, the peak of the dress fell a feet below the floor. Her hair was neatly tied in a bun showing her blonde hair. It was the same bun Anna was wearing; Anna grinned at this expectantly. So I did make the right hairdo. She was brought forth and rested her hands into the railings of the little balcony. She was going to do the opening of the ceremony. Anna stepped closer to her as the princess, but not too close since Elsa was the queen of Arendelle.

Elsa

I had been debating for hours this morning on wether to put my hair up in a braided bun, or leave the braid down. I had slightly changed my dress so that the slit wasn't so big, but left everything else pretty much the same. Remember, Elsa. This is a special occasion. Most princesses and queens wear their hair up in a bun, I thought to myself. I sighed, knowing my inner self was right, and put my hair tied up in a bun. I then walked outside calmly, like a queen would.

"Open the gates!" I commanded the guards, and they obediently did so. Many people began to flood in. Then I realized Anna wasn't here. Where was she? About ten minutes later, I saw her be pushed up in front of the crowd with me on the balcony. She kept her distance, mainly because she was a princess, not because she was afraid of me or shy. I smiled at her, seeing her hair was also in a braided bun. We were both on the same track. I looked back at the crowd, and began the ceremony.

"Welcome, everyone, to Arendelle!" I shouted. "Thank you for coming to the re-opening of the gates here. This is how it will stay!" I heard cheers from the crowd, and I saw Anna smile happily. This was working out just fine.

Later, there was a large ball in the ballroom, with a feast in the dining room. I walked up to stand on the stage confidently.

"Queen Elsa of Arendelle, and Princess Anna of Arendelle!" One of the men announced. When the guests went back to what they were doing, I bumped Anna in the arm with my elbow. "Are you ready to have a fun night of dancing?" I asked with a smile.

Anna smiled,"thought you'd never ask,"she replied.

Elsa formally stood in the middle smiling and holding her hands together, viewing the ball from a spectacular angle. Anna on the other hand looked at Kristoff and laughed. It must have been weird for him to stay inside and look at royals all day. He turned around and began heading to the food section to not look like a fool. He admired Elsa's sorcery and the way she crafted the table with a magnificent layer of snowflakes. Anna began to see Kristoff head to the food section and wrinkled her nose a bit, chocolate. She went towards the food station and looked at all the delicacies, and then the mountain of chocolate. She held her elbow out to reach for a piece, but accidentally knocked a silver statue of a knight. Everybody was having too good of a time to notice. She shrugged and went on, then noticed how Kristoff looked at her.

"Oh well, nobody can be completely royal,"Anna exclaimed.

She bit into the sweet chocolate and saw Elsa craving it too. She laughed slightly. She set it down and whispered in Kristoff's ear,"this is the part where you ask me to dance."

I put the chocolate down and looked over at Anna, trying not to be embarrassed. Of course, the gentleman almost always asked a lady if they would like to dance.

"Can I have this dance?" I asked, and she nodded. I escorted her out to the dance floor, giving a respectful nod towards Elsa as I passed her. When we reached the ballroom, I found an open place where we could both dance freely without bumping into anyone. Looking around, I saw how everyone else's stance was, and copied it. Hoping I wasn't making a fool of myself, I began dancing with her. After a few minutes of silence, I started up a conversation. "So, what do you think of the gates being re-opened permanently?" I asked her.

Elsa

I watched my sister and that boy - what was his name? Chris? Christopher? Kristoff! - walk out to the ballroom, but I stayed in the dining room. I noticed the knight statue had been knocked over, and picked it up with ease. I knew a queen shouldn't be doing that, but I couldn't just let it lay around like that. Besides, no one was watching. I walked up to the tables and grabbed a bowl full of chocolate, which reminded me of my coronation day, when I had talked with Anna for the first time in thirteen years. It felt good to spend time with my sister, just like in our childhood years, before the terrible accidnet. I shook the thought away and continued eating the chocolate.

(Are you planning on having Elsa's love interest appear during this party, or after?)

Anna raised her eyebrows," What do you mean? I love it!"

She giggled slightly, "follow me. Oh and be sure not to trip. Are you scared of heights?"

Kristoff stood frozen but followed Anna to the top of the castle. She hoped it wouldn't make Kristoff feel too uncomfortable,"How's your ice business going, I never thought I'd ask that after the whole ice covering last time. You should see Oolaf, he's probably in town doing what summer people do."

She got up on the thin railing and looked down. She saw a prince arriving late to the party, but with two royal escorts. She smiled widely when he was making his way towards Elsa. The view was blocked when he slipped inside the door, but the shadows of the two conversing was easily seen.

"Come over here,"Anna whispered. She pointed her finger at the two. "Wait actually, let them enjoy. Are you still going to tell me about your ice business. Maybe you should mention the part where Elsa and I got you a super cool sled!"

Elsa was waiting in the dining room slowly greeting by passengers who congratulated her and the castle. A prince, with lavish dressing and two royal escorts joined Elsa. He has dark brown hair with slight ruffled and light brown eyes. He wore a white suit with brown strands falling from the side and smiled at the queen.

"It would be impolite to refuse a dance,"he said charmingly.

Kristoff

"Well, it's the ice business. Although, since you got me that new sled, it's been going a lot smoother and faster," I answered. I kept glancing over at the door, where I could see Elsa and the boy's shadows. "How do you think that will go?" I asked Anna. I hoped Elsa would be smart enough not to fall for the boy right away, unlike Anna with Hans.

Elsa

I turned around to see a strikingly handsome prince standing right behind me. "Hello," I said, respectfully curtsying to him, as I could tell by his clothes that he was a princw. I just hoped I didn't look too bad in front of him. "I would like to dance with you," I answered. He was right, after all. It would be impolite to refuse a dance. I just hoped my emotions wouldn't get the best of me. As we walked to the ballroom, I decided too ask him a couple questions. "What's your name?" I asked, and added, "Where are you from?"

(Sorry for the shortness. I couldn't think of much else to say for them. =-P)

Anna smiled,"You know you could just ask Elsa to make you some,"she laughed. She looked back at Anna and the boy,"Elsa doesn't fall for a guy immediately. You know about Hans,"she replied rolling her eyes. "Besides, I don't she wants a guy right now or..ever,"she exclaimed. "Might as well check it out than predict what's going on,"she said, smiling. She jumped of the balcony, even though it wasn't lady-like, everyone was mostly inside. She slightly creaked the door open and saw them.

"Look, he's asking her for a dance. Elsa's probably going to decline, watch,"Anna said.

Instead, Elsa got up with a sweet smile and agreed. Anna was dumb founded. "Maybe not,"she said silently.

The prince smiled at the queen,"My name is Prince Stephen,"he said. He made sure to stop from saying his full name, but was almost dumbfounded when she asked where he was from.

"I'm from Walesburg, so I guess Prince Stephen of Walesburg,"he said with a flashing smile.

He caught a glimpse of Elsa's sister, Anna and her supposed boyfriend, the ice man. He refused to bring up the topic of his sister and continued on. He was about to converse more when a royal lady raised a silver sup and spoon and tapped them together softly. They all paused and listened.

"Congratulations to Queen Elsa and Priness Anna on the re-opening of the castle!"she said.

Everyone clapped loudly. She took her purple cape and swayed it a little to gather more attention. "Queen Elsa, I may be another royal, but I know a good queen when I see one. Your heart is pure and I see a great future for Arendelle,"she paused a little. Anna smiled and Elsa smiled along. "But, a true kingdom is valued more with a King of Arrendelle as well. It is our wishes to see the arrival of a king when he comes,"she said.

Kristoff stood frozen again, along with Elsa, and even Anna. The three couldn't respond to a crowd like that. Who do royal events always have their moments?

"That's marriage,..."Anna said.

The woman nodded,"I have also been hearing off you and your lover's wedding as well,"she said.

"Yes, but Elsa? She would never get married!"Anna protested.

Elsa's cheeks flushed and it was awkard with Stephen around, but he seemed delighted by this. Elsa gave Anna a stare urging her to be polite to all the royals, the re-opening ceremony was burning with confusion, excitement, and even anger from around the room. Elsa began to talk and settle this.

Elsa

I had been enjoying the dance with Stephen, not because of any romantic things, but because it was the first time I had danced with anyone since I can remember. But when the lady mentioned having a king, I immediately stiffened and felt my cheeks start to get hot. I quickly hid it, though, and made sure I had everyone's attention.

"I appreciate your concern and want for a king, but for now I would just like to be friends with everyone. Nothing more. I may change my mind later, but I'm sure I can handle this by myself," I announced. I saw Stephen slightly frown, then hid the disappointment. Did he really have feelings for me? We had just met not even half an hour ago! I dismissed the crowd and walked over to Anna. "Can I talk to you?" I asked, then shot a glance at Kristoff and bacj at my sister. "Privately?" I led her out onto the balcony, not waiting for her to say anything. Seeing that she followed me, I stated my 'concerns'. "I-I think that Prince Stephen guy likes me. Like, like likes me. Is that what it was like with you and Hans?"

Kristoff shrugged and went outside to check on Stev. Anna remembered Hans, and remembered Stephen.

"I don't know but, do you like him? You can't trust all these royals, they only came here because Arendelle's rich and wealthy. It might be the same with Stephen, but it would be terrible if you got to know he really liked you,"Anna said.

She peered around the room,"Where is he? Did he leave already?

Elsa
"I know I can't, but...I don't know. Now that you mention it, his disappointment might be because he knew he couldn't take over the kingdom." I replied. When Anna said she didn't see him, I looked into the ballroom, trying to find him. "That's odd. He was just here. Where's Kristoff? He seems to have disappeared as well."

Kristoff
I walked up to Sven. "Hey, buddy. It's crazy in there," I stated. "Although Elsa might like a boy." I added, not sure where to go with it. Why had Elsa asked her sister to talk privately? Hopefully there was nothing bad going on.
