[It was late when I wrote that. Sorry. xD Well, not really that late, but I had spent the whole day lugging furniture around, haha. xD]

Lilypaw slowly drifted off into a light, dreamless doze, her chin resting on the floor of the medicine den and her eyes peacefully closed. [Best "paragraph" everrr...]

Beetlepaw stirred, but did not wake. He shifted and grunted, but didn't take notice of much around him. He was coiled in his cozy nest almost like a snake, his tail wrapped around his hindquarters and his front paws tucked under his chin comfortably. His tears flicked in his slumber.
Tawnystar yawned. Her paws twitched, but otherwise she didn't move much. She flicked her tail and rose to her paws, her limbs still rather stiff from her sleep. "Littlepaw?" she meowed.

The young apprentice spotted the leader at last, rising to her paws not far away. Pricking her ears she hurried closer, eyes hopeful. "Tawnystar. Do you think we could do some training?" she asked, dipping her head respectfully. The leader looked rather tired, and Littlepaw supposed she'd just awoken, so she hoped that wouldn't make her unwilling to train. Still, if not, she'd just go back and pester Beetlepaw til he woke.

[Sounds like what a young person/cat would do. xD]

Tawnystar shrugged. "I do suppose so," she agreed. She yawned a little. "But wait." She turned to smooth a patch of ruffled fur. After their training, perhaps she could see if her apprentice could hunt.

The ginger-tailed she-cat blinked happily, and stepped back, dipping her head again. She glanced back over her own fur, and gave it a few licks as well. It had gotten ruffled in her nap too, but she didn't mind too much. Littlepaw faced her mentor again, tail kinking over her back. "So what first?" she asked, kneading her white paws against the soil.

[Where'd your icon go?]

"I think we ought to practice some battle tactics," Tawnystar informed her apprentice. "And defense techniques." She flicked her tail, her fur still somewhat tufty. It didn't bother her much. If they would be scuffling during battle training, it didn't do her much good to smooth out her fur if it would get messy again. She straightened her posture. "Come."

[it died, I guess...but it's back now. ouo ]

Littlepaw shifted back and forth in her excitement. "Okay!" she chirruped. Anything was good with her, really. The ginger-tailed she-cat mirrored her mentor as she too straightened, and nodded, stepping forwards to follow Tawnystar.

[Yay.]

Tawnystar padded out of the camp to the training hollow, watching a plain shadow cast upon the surrounding foliage. She huffed, lashing her tail and her pawsteps light. She had not had many plans for the day except for the usual routine, but she supposed a little training would do Littlepaw good. After all, her apprentice needed as much training and knowledge for her life as a warrior ahead of her...

The apprentice hurried along after the tabby she-cat, her head lifted in eagerness. She glanced around the grassy landscape contently, enjoying the nice day. As they reached the hollow she came to a halt on the soft soil and faced Tawnystar, ears pricked. She wasn't sure if she liked battle-training or hunting better; both were just great fun! At least way better than cleaning the elders' bedding and stuff, yuck.

[Laaaaate responseeee...]

Tawnystar pondered for a few short moments, before nodding slightly, more to herself than Littlepaw. "I think we should practice a few more defensive techniques," she announced, "and perhaps a few battle tactics afterwards..."

[First it's late, then it's short. -Facepalm-]

The mostly-white apprentice pricked her ears and blinked at her mentor. "Okay." she mewed, nodding and flexing her paws against the ground in eagerness. "I'm ready!" she added, swishing her tail back and forth. Littlepaw straightened up and fixed her blue gaze upon Tawnystar, excited.
