In the land beyond the east towards the beautiful side of Priderock lived a King,proudly presenting the joy of the land,the news of the prince.He lay in his mother's womb fast asleep.The animals came leaping towards the cliff where the first view was spotted.The king smiled,looking at his wife.

At the opposite side,stood the exiled,stubborn and jealous and deep in though tof their own world,and next to them,stood the world of the wolves.They were neither good or bad,but they were watching...always watching.They had a deep hatred of Priderock,and never found anyone worthy enough to be spoken to,but they never argued or caused trouble.A female wolf stood on the upmost rock and glanced at the ceremony of the pregnant lioness.

After Zula made her way to Pride Rock, she couldn't help but notice the wolves. For some reason, she has a feeling that something wasn't right. But she tried to keep positive thoughts since this is a special occasion after all. So, she turned her attention away from the wolf pack and paid more attention on the royal couple.

Sari and Haku looked at eacher nudging and tickling their noses softly and laughed as a baby bird made a gagging expression. The king and queen, however were unaware of the wolf pack Zula spotter and unaware of Zula.

"Whats the name?"Haku asked suddenly forgetting the details.

"I don't know Haku. Something special though,"Sari simply replied as Haku chuckled and roared. The echo of the roar spread towards all directions and all animals from the den came out.

A lioness, looked at a familiar figure approaching the ceremony and turned her head back. She was bored of the ceremony and quietly slipped out. SHe hadn't talked to Zula much after her troubles, but being slightly younger than her, she cautiously approached her.

"Zula?"she whispered quietly. She silently gasped as the figured of wolves stood on the cliff watching, but they wouldn't try a move on an occasion like this. She offered Zula a smile and quickly climbed back to the cliff turning around to find the king and queen completely unaware.


"Zula!"she said

Zula's attention quickly went from that of the royal couple to the lioness.

"Is something the matter?" Zula questioned the younger lioness

Zula quickly glanced back at the wolves, then to the king and queen before returning her glance to the lioness.

The younger lioness, Dieta shook her head frantically, trying not to provoke the wolves.

"Hey Zula. No, um, we should get back to Priderock. I was just wondering where you've been,"Dieta said quietly slipping into the den again. Dieta looked over at the king and queen, and of course, the royal bird. Zula sneered a little and sat down as a small baboon approached them. Dieta didn't pay much attention to the details as her golden eyes were focused on Zula. She admired her a little, she was strong, intellegent, caring, and even beautiful. It was hard to keep track of everyone with the wolves and the lions. She just simply smiled, although uneasily. She didn't like the look one of the wolves gave her.

"Where were you?"she finally managed to ask.

"Just around the Waterhole. Ceremonies can build up quite a thirst y'know?" Said Zula cheerfully.

Zula noticed that Dieta felt rather uneasy and she knew why. Those wolves are just as undesirable as the hyenas, but they haven't caused much harm so it shouldn't be a big deal right? Still Zula hated anything in the canid family even animals that had an appearance as one. She still held her respect towards those who were respectful towards her, but she usually wants to stay as far away from them as possible.

Zula placed a paw on Dieta in a attempt to lift up her spirits. Although Zula is a rogue she is quite familiar with Dieta. And in ways Dieta reminded Zula of her deceased sister.

"Don't mind those...things." She said comfortingly.

"If they attack now it would be the end of them. So if they know what's good for their flea-ridden hides they would stay where they are." She glared at the alpha wolf with some of her canines showing as she said the last sentence.

"Yeah, I'm not really worried about them, its actually...somebody else behind them, although the wolves play a part there too,"she said. She slowly went up to whisper in her ear,"Somebody else moved in."

Sari looked around with the babboon and the birds, and of course the hundreds of animals. Suddenly, she heard a cough from Haku and raised her eyebrows affectionately.

"Haku...are you all right?"she said tilting her head.

"Yeah yeah. You might want to get inside,"he said quickly.

She took one last glance at him gaunt and weak face, before rushing inside to find the other lionesses cheery and brightful, except two.

"Who moved in!?" Zula whispered into Deita's ear with a since of urgency.

Although Zula had no affiliation with the royal couple she still had the since of responsibility of protecting them even if it was to cost her life. It didn't take long before Zula got on all four paws. If there was something more dangerous than wolves than she would be happy to rid of them.

"Deita I think it's best if you head back up to Pride Rock. I'm not sure if something is going to occur, but it's better to be safe then sorry." Zula said in a motherly tone with a hint of warning in her voice.
