Everything the Light TouchesLittle Simba just can't wait to see the whole kingdom! Simba can't wait to learn about the do's and don'ts about becoming the next King of Pride Rock. Waking his father and mother up eagerly, Mufasa finally wakes up and tells Simba what he must do to become a good King. While Zazu, Mufasa's trusted advisor comes along, and tells Mufasa the "Morning Report" (Scene not shown in the original Lion King) Simba gets carried away by pouncing. Mufasa tries a pouncing lesson on Zazu for Simba. But as soon as Simba gets to do it again, Zazu announces that hyenas are in the pride lands. Zazu is then ordered to take Simba home. |

Uncle ScarAfter being brought home by Zazu, Simba goes to brag to his uncle Scar, on who is going to be the future king of Pride Rock. Scar "leaps for joy", by telling his young nephew about the Elephant Graveyard, which is the place that Mufasa told Simba not to go to. Scar tells Simba that only the bravest lions go there. Simba wants to show everyone how brave he is. Simba visits his best friend Nala. He asks if they can go to the waterhole, when he is really going to the Elephant Graveyard. "Only if Zazu goes with you" Simba's mother tells them. Simba and Nala are not pleased with this! |

Just Can't Wait to Be KingIn this scene, Simba sings about his future being king, and what everything will be like. Simba and Nala create a chaos of animals, and soon lose Zazu. Their plan finally worked! Simba knows that no King needs a baby sitter. |

The Great Kings of the PastAfter finding out that Simba took Nala to the Elephant graveyard, Mufasa tells Zazu to take Nala home, so he and Simba can have a father and son talk. Mufasa explains to Simba that being brave doesn't mean you go looking for trouble. Simba tells his father that he was just trying to be like him. Mufasa forgives Simba, and they play, then Mufasa tells Simba something serious. He tells his son to look at the stars, and if he feels alone, the great kings of the past will always be there to guide him. |

Be Prepared!Scar is disappointed that Simba didn't die with his encounter with the hyenas. Scar sings about what his evil plan will be now, and tells the hyenas to "be prepared" because this just might work, so he can become King! The hyenas also join in, celebrating because Scar promised them tons of food when he is king. |

Long Live The KingScar takes his evil plan in action: Put Simba in the gorge. Have the hyenas make a stampede. Get Mufasa to save Simba, and hopefully neither of them will make it out alive. But the plan doesn't work out so well. Scar kills Mufasa, Scar tells Simba to run away and never return. Simba does as he is told, and then sends the hyenas after Simba. Though, the hyenas don't actually kill Simba. But Scar doesn't know this..yet. |

Hakuna MatataDehydrated, and famished, Simba passes out in the middle of the desert. Soon, a friendly warthog, and a meerkat, Timon and Pumbaa come and find Simba. They bring him to shade, and splash water on his face. Simba tells Timon and Pumbaa that he did something really bad. Simba's new friends insist he must put his problems behind him, and live life the way he wants to. Timon and Pumbaa sing abut their motto, "Hakuna Matata" and liking this new motto, Simba grows from a young cub, to a handsome adult lion. Happy just the way life is. |

A Bunch of Royal Dead GuysFilled up with grubs, Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa decide to stargaze. Timon and Pumbaa tell what they think the stars are. Pumbaa suggests that they are giant balls of gas, as Timon thinks that they're fireflies that got stuck in the sky. But Simba has a whole different view on things. He tells Timon and Pumbaa what his father told him when he was a cub. "All the great kings of the past, look down on us from those stars." Timon and Pumbaa burst out laughing, as they find Simba's view amusing. Simba soon is reminded of his father's death, and gets nostalgic. |

Can You Feel The Love Tonight?Back at home, Scar has told the kingdom that Simba didn't make it out alive with Mufasa. Nala goes looking for help, but instead, she finds her long lost best friend! The two recognize each other when Nala pins Simba to the ground, like they did when they were cubs. In this scene, Simba and Nala express their deep love for each other. |

The One True KingNala tells Simba that he must go back to save the kingdom. Simba doesn't believe her. He leaves, and goes where he stargazed with his pals Timon and Pumbaa. Rafiki shows Simba that his father is still alive. Leading Simba to the waterhole, Simba sees Mufasa's reflection in the water. Mufasa's ghost appears, and convinces Simba to go back to Pride rock to take his place as the rightful King. |

Luau!Simba, Nala, and along with Timon & Pumbaa, they arrive back at Simba's old childhood home. Simba tells Timon and Pumbaa to create a diversion to distract the hyenas, while he and Nala go off to find Scar and his mother, Sarabi. Timon dresses up as a hula dancer and distracts the hyenas. |

Scar's Little SecretAfter Nala and Simba find Scar and Sarabi, Nala rounds up the lionesses while Scar finds out that Simba is here to take his place as king. The whole dramatic truth comes out here. Scar makes Simba admit that he was the one responsible for his father's death. Scar walks Simba on the tip of Pride rock, and digs his claws into Simba's paws, just like he did when he killed Mufasa. Scar then tells Simba that he killed Mufasa. Filled with rage, Simba manages to jump back up on Pride rock, and makes Scar admit that he was the one who is really responsible for Mufasa's death. |

Scar's DeathSimba fights his uncle for his rightful place on the throne. Simba manages to beat Scar by kicking him off a cliff. The hyenas corner Scar and get their revenge by eating him alive. |

The Circle of Life ContinuesAfter Scar dies, rain comes, and the fire is washed away from Pride Rock. All evil is gone, and it is time for Simba to take his place as King. Simba walks confidently up Pride Rock. Mufasa's voice appears, telling Simba to "Remember." Simba roars, and all of his lion pride join in. Afterwards, Simba and Nala have a cub of their own, continuing the circle of life! |
