Rafiki's Tree, also known as the Tree of Life, is a massive African Baobab (Adansonia digitata) tree in the Pride Lands. It is home to Rafiki, who has been a resident in all three movies.
The Lion King
In The Lion King, the tree is shown when Rafiki paints the drawing of Simba. It is shown again briefly when Rafiki crosses out the same drawing believing that Simba had died and yet again when Rafiki draws a mane on the drawing, after realizing Simba was still alive.
The Lion King II: Simba's Pride
In The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Rafiki's Tree is shown when Rafiki paints the drawing of Kiara and Kovu.
